Why are there price changes in the Atlassian Cloud?

The new prices go hand in hand with enhanced features and improvements, especially in the Premium and Enterprise plans. This means that customers get more performance and useful features for the higher price. These new features are designed to help teams work together more effectively and manage complex projects better.

In the Standard Editions, Atlassian has adjusted the prices so that they remain competitive while maintaining the quality and functionality of the products. In short, the price adjustments are designed to give customers more for their money - be it through new features, better performance or optimized tools. Atlassian wants to ensure that customers also receive tangible benefits and real added value from the higher prices.

Product customizations for Jira Service Management

From October 16, 2024, some advanced incident, problem and change management features will be moved to the Premium and Enterprise plans. Standard customers will receive a 12-month transition period.

In addition, Atlassian is introducing consumption-based pricing for asset objects and virtual agent conversations:
