Data Center – Jira and Confluence end in 2029
Atlassian is retiring Data Center. Since 30 March 2026, new customers can no longer buy Data Center licenses. Existing customers can still buy new licenses, apps and more users until 30 March 2028 and renew up to 28 March 2029. On that day the licenses expire, and instances become read-only.
This affects Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence and Crowd Data Center. Bitbucket and Bamboo Data Center continue beyond 2029 with the Bitbucket Hybrid License. We keep supporting existing licenses until the end.
