In this key position, you will take over the management of our consulting team and report directly to the CEO. You coordinate the projects in which our consultants are deployed, are Contact person in difficult situations with clients and ensure that our consulting projects in the areas of Atlassian, Cloud migrations, DevOps and Identity Management successfully. Your tasks:
- Team leadership & delivery: Technical and organizational management of the consulting team - you plan the deployment of consultants in Atlassian and DevOps projects and ensure on-time, high-quality results and satisfied customers. You maintain an overview even in complex projects and guarantee excellent solution quality and customer satisfaction.
- Methodology & processes: Definition and optimization of our consulting processes and best practices in the team to ensure a uniform, efficient approachstepstone.com. You establish appropriate methods and continuously drive improvements.
- Customer escalations: More direct Contact person for escalations - you intervene when things get stuck and find constructive solutions to challenges in ongoing projects. Your confident manner will strengthen our customers' trust in critical situations and ensure customer loyalty.
- Mentoring & Enablement: Coaching and professional development of your consultants - as Mentor in the project work and support your team in word and deed, promote continuous learning and ensure that everyone can perform at their best. Team success is your top priority.
- Project management: Close cooperation with contacts on the customer side, especially with strategic customers. You support the management of complex projects, set priorities and ensure that both customer requirements and our quality standards are met. Through your experience and leadership, you will provide guidance and lead the team to success, even in large-scale projects.
- Strategic cooperation: Coordinating with the management and other departments (e.g. Sales, Development) to address customer needs holistically. You report regularly to the CEO on project progress, team performance and identify new opportunities to further expand our consulting quality.

Your profile
- Education & Experience: Completed studies in (business) informatics, business administration or comparable. You bring At least 5 years of professional experience in IT consulting or project management - of which Several years in a management position (e.g. as project or team leader). Own project successes in the IT consulting industry is a prerequisite.
- Specialist knowledge: In-depth Expertise in Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence etc.) as well as good knowledge of Cloud technologies and DevOps principles. Experience with Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions (e.g. SSO, directory services) is a plus. You are technically adept and always stay up-to-date in these areas.
- Methodical competence: Sound understanding of Project management and consulting methods and tools such as Jira for project management. Ideally familiar with agile approaches (Scrum/Kanban) and ITIL/ITSM processes. You know how to structure complex projects and lead them to success and are not afraid to establish best practices across the team.
- Customer orientation: More pronounced Service concept and quality awareness - you have successfully implemented projects in German-speaking countries and always strive to understand and improve customer processes. Customer satisfaction is your top priority and you act proactively to ensure this.
- Leadership & Soft Skills: Verifiable Leadership competence and experience in managing distributed teams. Thanks to your strong communicative skills and empathy, you manage to build trust with customers and in the team. You are assertive, but also a team player - someone like you is characterized by high social competence and organizational skills.
- Languages: German at native speaker level and fluency in written and spoken English. You are confident in both languages during presentations, customer meetings and internal coordination.
