Your working arrangements
Building and testing physical prototypes happens in our Leipzig maker space. Living nearby is therefore an advantage. Suitable software, design and documentation tasks can also be done remotely. If you live further away, tell us how regular hands-on work in Leipzig could fit your situation.
Your schedule can be arranged around your studies. We will agree the weekly hours and how the work fits your timetable with you.
Our professional community
Exchanging ideas with others is part of what we enjoy about this work. For our XALT AI Circle in Munich in autumn 2026, we have invited Peter Steinberger of the OpenClaw Foundation to discuss personal agents. In October 2026, Philipp Göllner spoke at the Enterprise AI Summit in Charlotte about how our team built a Chief of Staff agent. We plan to represent XALT again at the summit in Portland in May 2027. For a closer look at our work, see Philipp’s talk from Charlotte.
Your AI example
We would like to understand how you approach problems and what you have learned along the way. Bring a small AI project of your own, for example from your studies or spare time, and show it to us live. Walk us through what you built, whether it works consistently, and what it taught you about its limits. One example is enough; you can recreate it with test data. Please do not share confidential information or protected code.
Your application
Does this sound like work you would enjoy? We would love to hear from you. Send your CV to careers@xalt.de and tell us what you would like to work on. The conversation should also give you room to ask about the team, your responsibilities and what you need to do good work. We will discuss the interview arrangements and your AI demonstration with you personally. You can also send any questions beforehand to careers@xalt.de.
