XALT newsletter

A newsletter that only shows up when it has something to say

Let us be straight about where this stands: the newsletter is being built up. So far there have been individual issues, not a series, and we are not going to promise you a cadence we do not keep. You hear from us when something changes at Atlassian that costs money or effort, or when we learned something in an AI project worth passing on.

Setting expectations

What you get, and what we are not promising you

Two topics, because those are the two we work on every day. The first is running the Atlassian estate: price increases, new licence models, migration deadlines – each with the arithmetic behind it, so you answer a budget question before procurement asks it. The second is AI as it actually reaches real systems: agent harnesses, zero trust for AI agents, agentic coding, and the approaches we discarded again. What we are not promising: a fixed cadence, mandatory monthly issues, product advertising or bought-in content. If a quarter has nothing to offer, you hear nothing from us that quarter.

What is inside

The topics we write about

Atlassian changes that cost money

Price increases, licence changes and cloud migration deadlines, each with the arithmetic behind it – the part you would otherwise piece together from release notes and partner emails yourself.

AI from live projects

How AI agents work in real systems with real permissions: agent harnesses, zero trust for agents, agentic coding – including the approaches we discarded again.

What is changing at XALT

New partner tiers, mergers, new skills on the team: things that change who stands in your project and with what mandate. Kept short, because it should not fill your inbox.

Frequently asked questions

There is no fixed cadence, and we are not going to pretend there is one. So far it has been individual issues spread across the year – we are building this up and write when a topic warrants it. In practice that means: too rarely rather than too often, and no email that merely fills a calendar slot.

For the people who actually run Jira, Confluence and the toolchain, and for those who budget for it: platform and DevOps teams, Atlassian admins, IT leadership. It is deliberately technical. If you only want to know what XALT offers, the services pages are the better place – this is not a sales letter.

It sits in our HubSpot account and is used to send this newsletter. It is not sold and not passed on. What we store and for how long is set out in our privacy policy. If you want to know what data we hold about you, or want it deleted, one email is enough.

Every email carries an unsubscribe link, one click is enough, and you do not have to give a reason. There is no follow-up email and no second list you end up on afterwards.
