What you will work on
- Develop product ideas for XALT Northstar, AI agents on Atlassian Cloud, developer experience and integrations such as CollabLayr.
- Investigate customer problems, prioritise requirements and turn them into clear product decisions.
- Work with engineering and consulting on prototypes, releases and learning from usage.
- Support delivery as a Product Owner or consultant for clients, with at least 50% billable time.
What you bring
- Experience in software product management or product ownership and an interest in direct client work
- Understanding of cloud products, integrations and the possibilities of Rovo, Forge or MCP
- An AI prototype you built yourself, with benefits and limitations you can explain and demonstrate

Your working arrangements
We value working together in the office: developing ideas, learning from one another and talking things through in person. Living in or around Munich or Leipzig is therefore a plus. Remote work is also possible. If you live further away, we would still love to hear from you. Together, we will discuss an arrangement that works for you, your team and the role.
Our professional community
Exchanging ideas with others is part of what we enjoy about this work. For our XALT AI Circle in Munich in autumn 2026, we have invited Peter Steinberger of the OpenClaw Foundation to discuss personal agents. In October 2026, Philipp Göllner spoke at the Enterprise AI Summit in Charlotte about how our team built a Chief of Staff agent. We plan to represent XALT again at the summit in Portland in May 2027. Your AI example
We would like to understand how you approach problems and what you have learned along the way. Bring a process you have automated yourself with AI and show it to us live. Walk us through your contribution, whether the workflow works consistently, and what has measurably improved. We are also interested in its limitations and how you check the results. One example is enough; you can recreate it with test data. Please do not share confidential information or protected code.
