What you will do
- Manage day-to-day accounting for our two German companies.
- Independently prepare and submit their annual financial statements.
- Support the accounting aspects of our US activities and build your knowledge of the relevant requirements.
- Identify recurring tasks, automate suitable steps with AI and review the results.
- Contribute to the development of new financial products.
What you bring
- Strong accounting knowledge and experience independently preparing and submitting annual financial statements for a German GmbH, for example as a Bilanzbuchhalter or with equivalent experience
- At least one accounting process you have automated yourself with AI and can demonstrate live during the application process (see “Your AI example”)
- An interest in US accounting and tax topics and a willingness to learn; prior US experience is not required

Your working arrangements
We value working together in the office: developing ideas, learning from one another and talking things through in person. Living in or around Munich or Leipzig is therefore a plus. Remote work is also possible. If you live further away, we would still love to hear from you. Together, we will discuss an arrangement that works for you, your team and the role.

Your AI example
We would like to understand how you approach problems and what you have learned along the way. Bring a process you have automated yourself with AI and show it to us live. Walk us through your contribution, whether the workflow works consistently, and what has measurably improved. We are also interested in its limitations and how you check the results. One example is enough; you can recreate it with test data. Please do not share confidential information or protected code.
