What you will do
- Take over one or more projects after sales scoping and plan scope, budget, timelines and resources realistically.
- Coordinate the project team and the use of AI agents, set priorities and remove day-to-day obstacles.
- Align with the customer on status, risks and changes, escalating budget or schedule deviations early.
- Review and approve timesheets as a clear basis for customer invoices, and automate reporting and documentation in Jira and Confluence with AI.
- Review projects after completion, including delivery lessons and financial performance, and work with Key Account Management on customer feedback and further needs.
- We will assess your work through delivery against timelines and budgets, customer satisfaction, timely timesheet approvals and early identification of risks.
What you bring
- Experience managing IT or consulting projects, ideally in Atlassian, DevOps or software environments
- Confidence using Jira, Confluence and time-tracking tools such as Tempo
- Experience leading teams day to day without necessarily having line-management authority
- A reliable grasp of budgets and timelines and a willingness to raise problems early
- At least one project-management process you have automated yourself with AI and can demonstrate live during the application process (see “Your AI example”)
- Very good German and good English
What we offer
- Unlimited tokens for Claude, OpenAI and the latest, most advanced AI tools
- €70,000–90,000 gross per year, depending on experience
- The opportunity to follow projects throughout their lifecycle and achieve results together with the team
- Professional exchange within the team, across the Atlassian ecosystem as a Platinum Partner, and through the XALT AI Circle and IT Revolution
Your working arrangements
We value working together in the office: developing ideas, learning from one another and talking things through in person. Living in or around Munich or Leipzig is therefore a plus. Remote work is also possible. If you live further away, we would still love to hear from you. Together, we will discuss an arrangement that works for you, your team and the role.
- Full-time
- Work within an international company with teams in Munich, Leipzig, Manila and New York
Our professional community
Exchanging ideas with others is part of what we enjoy about this work. For our XALT AI Circle in Munich in autumn 2026, we have invited Peter Steinberger of the OpenClaw Foundation to discuss personal agents. In October 2026, Philipp Göllner spoke at the Enterprise AI Summit in Charlotte about how our team built a Chief of Staff agent. We plan to represent XALT again at the summit in Portland in May 2027. For a closer look at our work, see Philipp’s talk from Charlotte.
Your AI example
We would like to understand how you approach problems and what you have learned along the way. Bring a process you have automated yourself with AI and show it to us live. Walk us through your contribution, whether the workflow works consistently, and what has measurably improved. We are also interested in its limitations and how you check the results. One example is enough; you can recreate it with test data. Please do not share confidential information or protected code.
Your application
Does this sound like work you would enjoy? We would love to hear from you. Send your CV to careers@xalt.de and tell us what you would like to work on. The conversation should also give you room to ask about the team, your responsibilities and what you need to do good work. We will discuss the interview arrangements and your AI demonstration with you personally. You can also send any questions beforehand to careers@xalt.de.
