What you can expect:

Depending on where your strengths lie, you can support us in the following areas, for example:

• How we work at XALT you will find out here
• Work in a team of talented developers 
• Develop plugins, add-ons or macros for Jira and Confluence
• Develop the front end of our apps – from UX/design to modern front end development.
• Use tools like Java, Python, Node and the Atlassian SDK in the backend
• Bring your own ideas for new features as well as completely new apps
• Drive our solution-design, architecture and implementation for both client-facing and internal projects using Atlassian tools
• Work with our marketing & social media team to market new features and apps in the form of blogposts, videos, etc. or write blogposts yourself (only if you want to).

What you bring to the table:

• You are generally enthusiastic about modern software development
• You always want to work with the latest and best tools and technologies
• You bring experience in the frontend and have several years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript or React
• You have experience in OOP, e.g. in Java or Python
• You don’t only see your apps from a developer’s perspective, but also from a user’s perspective.
• You are highly motivated, prefer to work independently and on your own responsibility rather than just being given tasks to work through
• You have a degree in computer science, business informatics, software or similar. Alternatively, you can convince us why you don’t need something like that for your job.    
• Experience or at least an interest in DevOps topics (AWS, Docker, etc.) is a big plus, but not a requirement
