Real business value is only created when the bottlenecks are solved end-to-end - from requirements to compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The key lies in the <strong>overcoming the AI paradox:<\/strong> More output does not automatically mean more value. The Atlassian Cloud Platform combines planning, development, support and operation under one roof, unlocking levels of productivity and collaboration that are simply not achievable with data centers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chelsea Ball, Director of AI &amp; Next-Gen Collaboration at Atlassian, put it in a nutshell in her keynote speech: it's all about \u201esmarter, cleaner ways\u201c of modern teamwork - and the cloud is the enabler for this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">AI with substance: Rovo in action<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>AI was the dominant topic - but in a pleasingly practical way. Atlassian showed with&nbsp;<strong>Rovo<\/strong>&nbsp;live to see what AI-supported automation looks like in practice: A Loom recording automatically recognizes a bug, creates a Jira ticket with full context, and a Rovo agent assesses severity and suggests fixes - even before a developer opens the ticket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The special feature: AI is not set up as a separate tool, but rather&nbsp;<strong>embedded directly into existing workflows<\/strong>. Automatic reports, stakeholder updates, triage - all without disrupting the user experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The AI paradox: More code \u2260 more value<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>One thought that has particularly occupied us: a sense of productivity and actual business value are not the same thing. The bottlenecks are often not in the code generation, but&nbsp;<strong>end-to-end<\/strong>&nbsp;- from requirements and coordination to compliance and regulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The recommendation:&nbsp;<strong>Introduce AI incrementally and in a use-case-driven manner.<\/strong>&nbsp;Small, measurable steps - such as automated scope management or audit compliance - generate genuine executive buy-in. Or as one speaker put it: \u201eBuying follows value.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Teamwork Graph: The nervous system of the organization<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Atlassian introduced the&nbsp;<strong>Teamwork Graph,<\/strong>&nbsp;a data network with over 100 billion relationships that link \u201ewho, what and why\u201c in the organization. Plus 1.5 billion new third-party objects per week via Atlassian and Forge connectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why this is important: The better the data is networked, the more precisely AI works. And the fewer context changes teams need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Security and governance in the cloud<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>An issue that is particularly crucial in Europe:&nbsp;<strong>Data residency and localization<\/strong>, granular authorizations, auditability and a structured governance model.
