As Director of Delivery at XALT, you will help create those conditions. You will own our project portfolio, develop leaders and run delivery across Munich, Leipzig, Manila and New York. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will bring together customer needs, your teams’ work and commercial goals. You will integrate AI agents in ways that help projects move faster while keeping results open to scrutiny. **What we are working towards** We want to help companies use AI to improve the work people rely on every day. We combine consulting, software development and our own products to make that happen. What excites us is seeing a technical idea become something people can count on. - Munich, Leipzig, Remote - Full-time - Strategic Lead ## What you will do - Set delivery standards for consultants, engineers and project managers, defining how agents are used in planning, implementation and review. - Embed quality assurance and software-change risk assessment in projects. - Manage utilisation, staffing, capacity and profitability across the project portfolio, using AI-assisted reporting. - Assess effort and delivery capacity in proposals and support major customer deals. - Take ownership of difficult customer situations, helping resolve problems and reach decisions. - Develop leaders and career paths across locations; feed delivery insights into our methods, agents and products such as XALT Northstar. - We will assess your work through customer satisfaction and repeat business, profitable projects, reliable utilisation and shorter delivery times without compromising quality. ## What you bring - Several years of leadership experience in delivery, professional services or IT consulting with enterprise customers - Experience with Atlassian Cloud, DevOps or platform projects - Experience managing utilisation, margin and customer satisfaction - The ability to handle difficult customer conversations up to executive-board level and implement change within teams - **At least one delivery or management process you have automated yourself with AI** and can demonstrate live during the application process (see “Your AI example”) - Business-fluent German and English ## What we offer - Unlimited tokens for Claude, OpenAI and the latest, most advanced AI tools - **€110,000–140,000 gross per year**, depending on experience; we are open to going beyond this range for exceptional candidates - The scope to develop our delivery organisation as part of the leadership team, working directly with the Managing Director - Professional exchange within the team, across the Atlassian ecosystem as a Platinum Partner, and through the XALT AI Circle and IT Revolution ### Your working arrangements We value working together in the office: developing ideas, learning from one another and talking things through in person. Living in or around Munich or Leipzig is therefore a plus. Remote work is also possible. If you live further away, we would still love to hear from you. Bring a process you have automated yourself with AI and show it to us live. Walk us through your contribution, whether the workflow works consistently, and what has measurably improved. We are also interested in its limitations and how you check the results. One example is enough; you can recreate it with test data.
