## Product adjustments to automations in Jira Cloud products

In addition, Atlassian announced changes to the execution of automations for Jira Software, [Jira Service Management](https://www.xalt.de/en/jira-service-management/), Jira Work Management, and Jira Product Discovery. These take effect on 1 November 2023.

Under the previous model, customers received a single, shared limit for all Jira Cloud products. For example, if a customer had Jira Software Free and Jira Service Management Standard, they would receive a total of 600 automation rule executions per month (100 from Jira Software Free and 500 from Jira Service Management Standard), which could be used across both products.

Under the new model from November 2023, each Jira Cloud product has its own usage limit. Each automation rule will consume the limit of a specific product when it is executed. The limits for the Atlassian Free and Standard plans will be increased to account for this. The automation limits in the new model are as follows:

| Produkt und Tarif | Neue Automation Limits / Monat |
| --- | --- |
| Jira Software | Free |
| Standard | 1.700 |
| Premium | 1.000 per User/Month |

## Further updates from Atlassian: Improved support for cloud migration

The price adjustments are just some of Atlassian's recent changes. The company has also revised its support and testing options for migration projects to make the transition to the cloud easier.

Server customers who have not yet migrated to the cloud can now test the cloud for six months. The trial period now also includes support for selected Marketplace applications.

Dual licensing for large server customers has been extended until 15 February 2024, and for enterprise customers until 15 February 2025.

## Why is it worth considering a migration to Atlassian Cloud now?

For enterprise customers who wish to move to the cloud but cannot complete the migration before the end of server support in February 2024, Atlassian offers an extension of server support in the form of dual licensing\* (\*for all customers who purchase an annual cloud subscription with 1,001 or more users from 12 September 2023 onwards).
